Background: According to Board Policy 8.80, the Board, on the recommendation of the Superintendent, must accept all gifts individuals or organizations contribute to the District.

Summary: The Student Excellence Foundation has donated $7,500.00 to co-sponsor the SEL parent and teacher workshops with Jessica Lahey on September 19-20, 2019. This donation will benefit the staff, students, and families of District 200. By making this donation, the Student Excellence Foundation transfers ownership of any items and relinquishes to District 200 the responsibility for maintenance, repair, insurance and any liability incurred in the use of the items donated.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Education accept the gift to District 200 from the Student Excellence Foundation in the amount of $7,500.00 as presented.
