Policy:
Background: State law requires all school district contracts and agreements that pertain to goods and services and that are intended to generate additional revenue and other remunerations for the school district in excess of $1,000 to be approved by the Board.

Summary: Attached are potential District contracts for the 2019-2020 school year.

These contracts could possibly generate revenue and other remunerations for the district in excess of $1,000. Therefore, we are asking the Board to approve these contracts.

In July 2016, the Board approved a five (5) year contract with Pepsi Beverages Company as our beverage/vending contractor for the District. Also, in May 2019, the Board approved a one year contract with Park Vending, Inc. as our snack vending contractor for both high schools and three (3) middle schools.

Recommendation: It is recommended that the Board of Education approve the vendor contracts as presented for the 2019-2020 school year.
